when i first reached shanghai pudong airport, it was really, emotional. partly because i had the mentality that this would be an educational trip. but most importantly, because i missed u. but little would i know that this would be one of the finest 2 weeks of my 2008 life
day 2 was a relaxing day. first up was a walk ard the school compound. fudan is the 3rd university in china. i really expected much more. apart from the building they build to commerate their 100 year, the other buildings are rather disappointing.

later on in the day, we went on to a museum! by then, we met kirk and changlong. so instead of staying in the museum to look at the exhibits, we went out to play dai dee! poor tudi(sijun), lost 9 times in a row? can u believe his luck? later on at night, we went on some shirt that travels down the river, revealing the skyscrapers, whatever and whatever u can see there. thats also when i first got to know bt and gang.
anyways, for the rest of the weekdays, it is lessons lessons and more lessons.

following that, its counterstriking at night!!!
the weekends are memorable.
saturaday
making fun of signs at that place(i forgot the name!!), jumping into people's photos. queueing up for 2 hours for nearly 400 xiao long bao! oh man, shao chun's gonna kill me if he sees this. hehe.
singing english oldies at the bookshop with kirk. xD

went to a village to shop, was more of a food street to me. unfortunately kirk's wallet was mugged. nxt up was to china's clarke quay, xin tian di. pubs pubs and more pubs! but i guai! stayed away from alcohol:)))
soon, it was our last day there. thursday had been an emotional day for almost everyone, if not, all the people there. it was also the day of our "红白大赛" or "red white big competition"(direct translation). needless to say, our red team trumped the white team upside down! here are some pictures of the competition. videos will be uploaded in the nxt post.
the respective tables before the competition

the 12 days past so quickly. like what wen xin said“光阴似箭,岁月如梭". before long, it was our last day there. during this short 11 days or so, we have forged strong bonds. stronger den i have expected! here are the pictures we took at the pudong airport.
thank you.
