floorball training + minds + ah ma's hse + tennis lessons = NO TIME TO DO HOMEWORK!
wah! floorball training nowadays has become much more interesting! but today's main thing isnt the training.
it was the visit to MINDS! seriously, before that, i never knew what MINDS is for. when i went there, hearing it was a home for the intellectually disabled, i was shocked as i was thinking it was some kind of organization that plans for events! furthermore, i dunno what to do when facing them!
so we all went for an orientation around the compound and i was very impressed. the facilities were gd and well equipped(other then the lack of volunteers).
SO it was time to meet the residents there at the gathering area. i was abit lost and didnt know what to do!! then paul(a resident there) offered his hand for a handshake, a handshake of assurance.
RELIEVED! they were super friendly people! especially my favourite! tat hiang(dunno if i spelt it correctly). he really is positive. no matter what u say to him, he will give u a thumbs up and a wide smile. seeing that, really makes my day! lai seng was gd too! i tot he was from china. like what someone said(forgot who)"babies that understand". totally true man! now, i cant wait for nxt week!
but it was kinda sad la. no wonder they say the world is unfair. there are ppl wasting their lives by not fully utilizing it, and on the other end, ppl with such disabilities(no offence), ppl starving. really, is there nothing we can do to help these ppl? god, please bless them. seeing those ppl at MINDS, its kinda hurting.
dang those scientists! take so much pay! come up with a cure fast!!!
