the heart is not simply the organ that pumps blood through the body, it’s a metaphor for a persons innermost core or spiritual center. it allows people to "feel" another thing, be it another human, animal, or even a thing.
but what happens when u "feel" too much for a person, or simply, when u like a person? to me, if you like a person too much, it doesn’t matter what he do or don’t you going find a better excuses to like him/her more.
For example:
rich, you gonna say you hit jackpot
poor, you gonna say poor thing you both live on love
ugly, you gonna say your shrek
handsome, you gonna say you are just lucky or your princes charming.
Educated, you be saying your doctor
Retard, you be saying your rainman (examples koped from a website)
well, i have seen a few people shot by the love cupid, and seriously, they are all are, suffering? from experience, you will just feel like nothing is going right or going your way, causing you to feel down the whole day. is it like that? i think it has to do with self control, not necessarily suppressing your feelings, but keeping it controlled in order to not go overboard -as in overwhelming the other person. but then i guess if you're both in love, that crazy sort of love then by all means, go out of control!
for now, i pray that all these people get what is best for them. bless them to get the courage and press on! i'm not pro in all these, but one piece of advise: if you really like that person, be patient. if not, move on!
on a lighter note, my godfather, godma and god sis came to singapore last thurs! it has been 6 weeks since i saw my godpa and ma and almost 3 years since i saw maia! she is such a big girl now! not to mention, mischievous.
so on sat, we went jurong birdpark!
